Hockey participant Navjot Kaur dominated out of 2022 Commonwealth Games

Navjot Kaur’s Commonwealth Games marketing campaign ended abruptly as she was about to return home after constructive testing. COVID-19.
The 27-year-old Kurukshetra resident had been missing for the previous two days.

Navjot, a member of the silver-winning Jakarta Asian Games staff, also won a bronze medal with India at the 2014 Incheon Games. He was removed from the games just one day after India defeated Ghana 5-0 in their opening match at the Commonwealth Games. Their next match is against Wales on Saturday.

Previously, two cricketers on the Indian team for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Pooja Bastrakar and S Meghna, were constructively examined before leaving India but recovered. Meghna has already joined the squad, and Pooja could join it before the third test against Barbados on August 3.
Earlier this week, game organizers stated that the Games Village reported a dozen incidents per day.

Due to the ongoing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has advised national team players to avoid public appearances and stay indoors, which could jeopardize their chances of participation.
